TIP #1: Calorie-Free Chocolate Bar

a. Open PHOTO-PAINT 8 and create a new RGB image, 350 pixels wide, 150 pixels high, 96 pixels per inch (dpi). Look at the Object Docker (Ctrl+F7) and be sure that Lock Transparency is unchecked.

b. Select the rectangle tool, making sure the Render to Object button is depressed (you don't have to cheer it up!). Figure 1.

	c. Create a rectangle 320x128 pixels. Figure 2.


	To create the rectangle at this exact size, first create any size rectangle. Next, with the rectangle selected, hit Ctrl+F8 to open the Tool Settings rollup. Figure 3. Select the scale tab (as shown circled in red) and enter the desired object dimensions. For this Tip uncheck anti-aliasing, and then click the Apply button on the property bar at the top of your screen.
