j. With the text object selected and the Mask tool in Normal
mode, Mask>Create from Object (Ctrl+M).
k. From the Object Docker (Ctrl+F7), select the rectangle object and then click on the image background or pasteboard area to deselect the rectangle object but
still keeping it the active object. Edit>Clear to cut a hole the shape of the text into the rectangle object. (If your text object is visible, and it should be, you will not actually see the image change. Toggle off/on
visibility for the text object and verify that the rectangle object now has a hole in it the shape of the text.) Remove the mask (Ctrl+Shift+ R).
l. Select the frame object and then open Cutting Edge F/X. Choose the Plastica effect and the Chocolate option. (For this Tip, we have run the effect on copies
of the object and then reassembled them into a new image so that you can see each step, but you can choose to run the effect on the current object, selecting each object in succession and re-running Plastica.) See Figures 6-8. Delete the
drop shadow layers for each object.
